Cat A Fit Out Case Study – Dorset Street – Southampton
Overview
A Cat A fit out involves refurbishing a space so that it is fully functional and clean but empty. This means that elements like lighting, air conditioning, toilets, flooring, ceiling, and basic fire detection are completed. This is ideal for landlords that want to refurbish a dilapidated building for sale.
The Brief
The purpose of this project was to prepare the office for new tenants. We completed a Category A fit out with numerous deliverables.
The Solution
We engaged with the client in a planning meeting that detailed the design, pricing, and design elements to kickstart the project. Key tasks included a total rewire and all new fan coils and ducting. Various security measures were implemented including perimeter fencing, extension of cedar trellis, new frontage signage and lighting, and a high-speed roller shutter with pedestrian gate and fencing.
