Project Overview

For this project, we completed a full Cat A and Cat B fit-out for the Agricultural Bank of China. Creating a usable blank slate and preparing it for immediate use within a tight timeframe.

The Goal

Our client, located near the Corn Exchange, needed a complete refit and refurbishment of their office before an important delegate arrived.

Taking up the entire seventh floor, this space was constrained and challenging to work in. As a prestigious finance client, maintaining functionality and presentation were crucial.

The Solution

We worked closely with the client to reimagine the entire space. Our team started by redesigning the entrance, reception and waiting areas. Next, we assessed and planned the Zoom booths, main boardroom, kitchen, breakout space, and circulation routes.

Once the design was finalised, our team delivered a full fit-out. This included new partitioning, updated flooring, furniture installation and decorative finishes. A carefully considered space plan was also developed to better utilise the available floorplate.

Bespoke branding and signage were introduced in key areas, including the reception and kitchen, to reflect the client’s identity and culture. Glass partitions and a full-height patterned feature wall added visual interest to the space.

Mechanical and safety systems were also updated. Air conditioning was realigned to suit the new layout, and fire systems were adjusted to meet current requirements.

The Results

Despite a constrained space and an uncooperative building site next door, our team effectively planned around it. With early-morning or evening deliveries, our team stayed on track.

The final product was an office that was more open and much brighter. With a highly efficient construction process, the Cat A and Cat B renovations were completed accurately, right on time for our client’s key guest.

With all health, safety, and building regulations met, this stunning space didn’t just benefit the team. Ultimately, our clients were more than satisfied with their results.
